An Assistant Teacher at The Goddard School is responsible for implementing appropriate and engaging lesson plans as well as assisting the lead teacher in providing a developmentally appropriate early childhood education program that will foster expressive language, cognitive, social emotional and physical skills.

Encourage children to interact with each other and resolve occasional arguments Guide children to develop their artistic and practical capabilities through a carefully constructed curriculum (identify shapes, numbers or colors, do crafts etc.
) Organize nap and snack hours and supervise children to ensure they are always safe Attend to students' physical, personal, academic, and emotional needs Perform other duties as directed by the classroom teacher and school administration Provide instructional reinforcement for individual students or small groups of students Why join our team?
